Best R Reliever Named Tuesday, October 27th , 2020 His manager and teammates call Elijah Lakes a true bullpen ace. The PBC Rookie Complex League calls him the winner of the Reliever of the Year Award for 2020. The Atlanta (R) Pilots relief specialist out of Jersey City, New Jersey, won the award with 17 saves in 46 relief appearances, 82 strikeouts in 76 innings and 25 walks. He compiled a record of 6 wins and 5 losses and had a 1.89 ERA. He received 18 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Manny Moscoso of the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder finished second in voting, while Gideon Bertagnolli of the Denver (R) Cutthroats finished third.
