2020 WAC Top Player Trophy Given to Kim Thursday, September 24th , 2020 The manager of the Arlington Stars said he thinks Gwon-soo Kim is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2020 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Western Amateur Circuit Most Valuable Player Award. His winning campaign featured a .351 batting average and a .432 on-base percentage this year. In 119 games he piled up 153 hits, 33 doubles, 3 triples, 34 home runs, 104 RBIs and 79 runs scored. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Bobby Lizarraga of the Albuquerque Coyotes finished second in voting, while Tony Lewis of the El Paso Mavericks finished third.
