EAC Awards Most Valuable Player Award, Gray Gets Prize Thursday, September 24th , 2020 Ryan Gray of the Providence Grays had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2020. The 28-year-old first baseman put up a .312 average and a .430 on-base percentage, piling up 139 hits, 19 doubles, 2 triples, 26 home runs, 72 RBIs and 78 runs scored. He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 20. Elijah Jones of the St. Petersburg Pelicans finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Ryan Horrocks of the Manhattan Liberty finished third with 2 first place votes.
