El Paso SP Spruill Will Miss 5 Months Saturday, September 5th , 2020 El Paso starting pitcher Malik Spruill suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Knights. According to club doctors Spruill has a torn back muscle. Although Spruill has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. In 10 starts this season, Spruill has rung up a 5-3 record and a 2.10 ERA. |
