Oilers Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, August 28th , 2020 While they stayed relevant until late in the season, a playoff berth wasn't meant to be this season for the Oil City Oilers. The club was eliminated from playoff contention today. "Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Oilers manager John Whitmyer said. The Oilers are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 16 seasons in the ABC. |
