Horrocks Raps 3 HR Against Knights Monday, August 17th , 2020 Fans are still buzzing after Manhattan whipped the Franklin Knights by the score of 7-6 at Central Park. Ryan Horrocks smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 4 hits in 4 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Horrocks said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Horrocks said. "Three is just... wow." Ryan Horrocks hit a solo-shot off Isaiah Taylor in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Isaiah Taylor in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off John Walsh in the 7th. Horrocks is currently batting .355 with 16 home runs and 52 RBIs. |
