Oil City's Valadez Out 4-5 Months Thursday, August 6th , 2020 The season is apparently over for Juan Valadez. The Oil City Oilers medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 4-5 months with a torn labrum. Valadez was hurt in the game against Manhattan while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Valadez has taken the mound for 7 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 1-1 record with a 4.35 ERA. The Oil City reliever has limited opposing batters to a .243 batting average. |
