Brooklyn Comes up Empty Against Taylor Thursday, August 6th , 2020 In a seemingly effortless performance, Isaiah Taylor of the Franklin Knights shot down the Brooklyn Atlantics, 3-0, on 4 hits. "Isaiah was just locating so well and using his pitches," Franklin manager Tony Flores said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Taylor recorded 10 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Brooklyn manager Justin Perry said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him." So far this season, Taylor has logged a 7-6 record with a 3.07 ERA. He has started 20 games, hurled 134.2 innings and registered 111 strikeouts and 49 walks.
