WAC Announces Player of the Week Monday, August 3rd , 2020 Speak softly and carry a big stick and you could win the Western Amateur Circuit Player of the Week Award just like Gabriel Jackson. He really dazzled on the diamond this week with a .611 average to take home the trophy. The New Orleans left fielder went 11-for-18, drove in 6 runs, scored 5 times and hit 2 home runs. This season, Jackson has hit at a .354 clip with 30 RBIs, 6 home runs and 34 runs scored. He has played in 56 games. |
