Gonzalez Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Saturday, August 1st , 2020 Marcos Gonzalez collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the El Paso Mavericks, beat the Dallas Bulls, 4-0. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Gonzalez quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Marcos Gonzalez flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
