Apollos Lopez Gone for Year Saturday, August 1st , 2020 Jose Lopez of the Houston Apollos was injured in today's game against San Diego and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a stretched elbow ligament, and he is expected to be out for up to 11 months. It happened while Lopez was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest.
