Guevara Muzzles San Diego Offense Wednesday, May 13th , 2020 It wasn't easy but Ivan Guevara made it look that way. Guevara silenced the San Diego Aztecs, 4-0, in a Yuma Gnomes triumph at Knights Grove. Despite the appearance of dominance, Guevara said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 2 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." So far this year, Guevara has a 4-1 record with a 3.08 ERA. View Boxscore |
