Peanuts Move on to Cup Qualifier Wednesday, October 7th , 2020 The San Francisco Peanuts and Detroit Motors didn't hold back anything in the Play-in Series, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Cup Qualifier. San Francisco won the final game by a score of 4-0 at The Motor Yard and that concluded the series, 3-2. "Relief is the biggest thing," San Francisco third baseman Benjamin Guérin said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Detroit deserves credit for the hard fight." Guérin paced the San Francisco offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .500 with a .600 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 5 runs.
