No Late-Season Magic Coming: Chicago Out of Playoffs Thursday, October 1st , 2020 Chicago baseball fans are feeling forlorn today, as the Chicago Union have missed out on the playoffs. The team was in the mix late in the season, but ultimately fell short. They were officially eliminated from contention today. Chicago last appeared in the postseason in 2003. This is their 17th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 21-year history. |
