Dortch Fans 15 Mavericks Wednesday, September 30th , 2020 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Tyshawn Dortch, the Denver Cutthroats topped the Houston Mavericks by a score of 9-2 at Cutter's Cove. The 26-year-old Dortch brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 8 hits and giving up no walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Mavericks manager Random Taek said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." In 22 starts this season, Dortch has notched a 12-6 record and a 3.02 ERA.
