Öunap Spectacular in 8-0 Win Sunday, September 20th , 2020 Mikael Öunap bent a little, but he didn't break against the Miami Sun Sox. The Toronto Titans pitcher hurled a 3-hit, 8-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering 2 walks and tallying 11 strikeouts. "Mikael is good at getting out of jams," Titans manager Chris Barrett told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you." So far this year, Öunap has made 19 starts, tossed 126.1 innings, struck out 139 batters and walked 39. His record is 8-5 with a 3.28 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .232 batting average.
