Meyer on Fire: 5-for-8 for San Francisco Saturday, September 5th , 2020 It was a big day for Dan Meyer and he brought the San Francisco Peanuts along for the ride. Meyer led his club to victory, 9-7, over the Los Angeles Knights at Camelot, smoking Los Angeles pitching for 5 hits in 8 at-bats. The 31-year-old first baseman later called the victory "sweet." Dan Meyer grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, struck out in the 11th, grounded out in the 13th and doubled in the 16th.
