Rookie Hurler Honored by PBC Tuesday, September 1st , 2020 Matthew Jacobs of the Los Angeles Knights had a magical month in August. He held the Professional Baseball Circuit hitters spellbound, conjuring up a 4-0 mark and a 2.20 ERA. Jacobs also chalked up 6 starts, 41 innings and 42 strikeouts. For this outstanding performance he was rewarded with the Rookie of the Month trophy. Checking out his stats for the year, Jacobs has racked up 6 wins and 1 loss in 10 starts, posted a 2.35 ERA, and struck out 71 batters in 76.2 innings. |
