Brown Shackles Los Angeles Monday, August 24th , 2020 It wasn't easy but the Chicago Union made it look that way. Starter Heinz Brown shut out the Los Angeles Knights despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Chicago Union cruised to victory, 10-0. Brown allowed only 4 hits and rang up 5 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up." So far this year, Brown has made 10 starts, tossed 61.2 innings, struck out 52 batters and walked 10. His record is 6-3 with a 3.21 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .253 batting average.
