The Houston Mavericks powered past the Atlanta Pilots, 9-5, at Mavericks Ballpark. Jorge Nunez provided some of the pop. El Cubano Zoom was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3. With the win, Houston climbs to 6-2.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Mavericks grabbed the lead when Nunez hit his 1st home run of the season. The solo home run off Jimmy Robertson made it 6-5, Houston.
