Blues Walk It Off for 39th Win of Season
New York City overcame a superior effort from Justin Johnson to beat Philadelphia, 8-7. The Philadelphia pitcher threw 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The Blues now own a record of 39-45.

The Blues were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 27-year old catcher Bob Ortega landed a big blow. He turned a 1-1 curveball from Miguel Hernandez into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Blues Field denizens into a frenzy and sent the Blues home with a thrilling 8-7 win.

"Good hitters want to be the ones taking those big at-bats," said Ortega.
