Keystones Need Extra Frames to Get Past Blues
The inspired effort of New York City shortstop Dan Siefken was not enough to prevent a loss, 7-6, to the Philadelphia Keystones. Siefken went 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Philadelphia has won 3 straight, while New York City has lost 3 in a row.

The Keystones beat the Blues in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single James Nilsson produced in the top of the tenth. Batting against Mike Sunshine, Nilsson gave his team the lead, 7-6, when he hit a run-scoring single.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Nilsson, "but we got it done."
