The Denver Cutthroats stopped the New York City Blues, 9-3, behind an impressive performance from Felipe Rodriguez. The two-time All-Star made life miserable for New York City pitching. He was 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The victory gives Denver a record of 42-38.

With Denver leading 6-3 in the top of the sixth, Rodriguez hit a changeup from Sam Cross for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Cutthroats ahead, 9-3.

"We did the things that it takes to win a game," said Rodriguez.
