The Washington Warriors faced a tough opponent in Boston pitcher Ken Szabo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Warriors Park by a final score of 4-3. Szabo went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The Warriors go to 19-38 with the win.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 13th, an error by the Shamrocks allowed the Warriors to score the winning run.
