Pfeiffer Powers Diablos Offense
The El Paso Diablos cut down the Denver Cutthroats by the score of 5-3, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Bob Pfeiffer. Pfeiffer was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Diablos. Omar Thomas earned the save, his 5th. With the win, El Paso has a record of 28-29. Denver falls to 31-26.

Pfeiffer had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 changeup from Peter Auman, he banged a bases-clearing double to center, giving the Diablos a 5-2 lead. It was the 5th double of the year for Pfeiffer.
