Sun Sox Rack Up 4-3 Win Versus Philadelphia
|
The Miami Sun Sox topped the Philadelphia Keystones, 4-3, the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Corey Hamilton. On the day, Hamilton was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Sun Sox. Billy Daily closed the door for Miami, picking up his 2nd save of the year. At 4-1, the Sun Sox have played well so far.
With Miami leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Hamilton hit a sinker from Brandon Beech for a solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Sun Sox ahead, 3-0.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Hamilton.
