Alonzo Tags Pelicans for 5 Hits
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Long Beach's Leo Alonzo made it happen against the Pelicans. Everything came together at the plate for the 28-year-old first baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and helped the Titans triumph, 17-3, at Long Island Park.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Alonzo said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."

Leo Alonzo singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Pete Waugh in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th and hit an RBI double in the 6th.

So far this season, Alonzo is batting .231 with 5 home runs.
