Diablos Post 4-3 Win Over Dallas
|
The Dallas Texans and El Paso Diablos provided some drama for the home crowd.
The El Paso Diablos picked up a win at Everything's Bigger in Texas Ballpark, downing the Dallas Texans, 4-3. On the mound for El Paso was left-hander Cortez Crus, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner was Crus. He threw 6.2 innings allowing 3 runs. The loser was Dusty Lang. Anthony Anderson picked up the save for El Paso, his 1st of the year.
Edgar Gonzalez, who is tied for 9th in the PBC in RBI with 25, helped out the El Paso cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the catcher went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Dallas skipper Jesus Sanchez.
After today's action, El Paso sits at 18-16; Dallas slips to 11-23.
