Boston Commons played host to some real drama.

Miami shortstop Joe Wheatley was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Boston beat the Sun Sox, 7-6, in 10 innings. The Shamrocks sit in 7th place in the PBC East Division with a record of 16-18.

Boston got a clutch hit from Eric Longson. The right fielder launched a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"What an exhilarating win!" said Longson.
