Brown Propels Philadelphia Offense in 11-3 Rout
Thanks in large part to designated hitter Kevin Brown, the Philadelphia Keystones beat the New York City Blues, 11-3. Brown was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Brandon Beech earned the win for Philadelphia. He lasted 8.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 9. With the win, he raised his record to 7-0. The Keystones improved their record to 16-13 with the win over New York City.

Phil Rasmussen hit a 2-run double off George Spence in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Keystones in front, 5-3. In addition to the double, Rasmussen had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
