The Denver Cutthroats and New York City Blues met at Cutter's Cove to settle a score.

Alejandro Hernandez, who finished 4th in the PBC in saves with 15 in 2015, propelled his team to victory over the Denver Cutthroats. The final score was 10-3, New York City. In 7.1 innings, Hernandez surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs.

Pat Hitchcock had a big 2-run home run for the Blues in the top of the first inning. With New York City leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Peter Auman and swatted a home run to right. It was his 6th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blues ahead, 3-0.

"We did a lot of things right," said Hitchcock.
