Los Angeles Rallies Past Houston, 7-6
|
The Los Angeles Knights faced a tough opponent in Houston pitcher Matt Beissel, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Camelot by a final score of 7-6. Beissel went 5 innings and allowed no runs. Buddy Hofman, now 1-2, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0. Los Angeles is now 7-11, Houston 7-11.
Los Angeles got a clutch hit from Jason Fallon. The right fielder launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Fallon. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
