Detroit (R) Shuts Out Las Vegas (R), 1-0 Thursday, August 29th , 2019 Greg Barrett kept the Las Vegas (R) Aces hitters from doing much damage at PBC Rookie Development Complex. Las Vegas (R) could only muster 5 hits and draw 2 walks against the right-handed Barrett, who controlled them throughout the game. Detroit (R) won the contest, 1-0. Barrett added 9 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Barrett told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." Checking out his stats for the season, Barrett has registered 7 wins and 10 losses in 20 starts, posted a 4.09 ERA, and struck out 142 batters in 136.1 innings. View Boxscore |
