Harrison Slams 5 Hits for Atlanta (R) Sunday, August 11th , 2019 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Adam Harrison of the Atlanta (R) Pilots. Harrison went on a tear at PBC Rookie Development Complex and cracked hit after hit off Detroit (R) pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 19-year-old third baseman had a career 5-for-7 day and something he will long remember. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell them we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview. Despite Harrison's personal accolades, the Detroit (R) Motors walked off the field with the 12-11 win. Adam Harrison singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Greg Barrett in the 7th, doubled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and struck out in the 11th. In 27 games Harrison is hitting .229 this season with 25 hits, 3 home runs, 13 RBIs, 16 walks, .328 OBP and has scored 9 runs. View Boxscore |
