Injury Sidelines Bill Otero for Season Wednesday, September 12th , 2018 When Bill Otero was hurt against the Los Angeles (R) Knights, the New York City (R) Blues were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 19-year-old starting pitcher suffered a damaged elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Otero would miss 13 months of the season. So far this season, Otero has a record of 5-4 with 50 strikeouts and 32 walks in 70.2 innings and a 4.58 ERA. |
