Pantoja Named Top Reliever for R Thursday, October 24th , 2019 He may only be 19, but Pablo Pantoja of the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the PBC Rookie Complex League. The reliever was today named the R Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2019. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 7 saves in 29 relief appearances and 54 strikeouts in 60.2 innings. He had a record of 6-2 to go with his 2.67 ERA. He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 18.
