Shamrocks Heading to Championship Cup Monday, October 7th , 2019 PBC Rookie Complex League pundits who figured the Cup Qualifier between the Boston (R) Shamrocks and El Paso (R) Diablos would go the distance were right on the mark. The two teams battled back and forth in a spirited series, with Boston (R) coming out on top thanks to a 6-4 win in the deciding game at PBC Rookie Development Complex, to wrap things up 3-2. "You get to the last game and anything can happen, so we're overjoyed to come out on top," said Shamrocks right fielder Jaden Williams, who was named series MVP. For the series, Williams had 7 hits for a .333 average. He had 2 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Championship Cup matchups and schedule will be announced after the Cup Qualifier finishes.
