Las Vegas (R) Loses Liam Cullen for Season Sunday, September 29th , 2019 The doctors have spoken and Liam Cullen of the Las Vegas (R) Aces didn't like what he heard. The 17-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Cullen sustained his season-ending injury during the Los Angeles (R) Knights game yesterday at PBC Rookie Development Complex. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Las Vegas (R) medical staff reported Cullen had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 14 months. For the season, Cullen has a record of 7 wins and 6 losses in 22 appearances. He has an ERA of 4.73 and has fanned 106 batters in 110.1 innings. |
