20 Games in a Row for Villegas Sunday, September 22nd , 2019 Danny Villegas of the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder tagged 1 hit in today's 7-4 loss to the St. Louis (R) Lions at PBC Rookie Development Complex to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Danny Villegas flied out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this season, Villegas is hitting .293 with 8 home runs, 42 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 91 hits in 311 at-bats and a .359 OBP. |
