WAC Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Friday, September 20th , 2019 When Josh Mann jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs. The Yuma Gnomes closer turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the Western Amateur Circuit Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2019. His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 14 saves in 41 relief appearances, 79 strikeouts in 71.2 innings and only 21 walks. He had a record of 8 wins and 3 losses to go with his 1.88 ERA. "I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. David Lee of the Houston Apollos finished second in voting, while Chris Tapia of the San Diego Aztecs finished third.
