Best EAC Reliever Named Friday, September 20th , 2019 At the young age of only 26, Yong-kook Choi has been named the Eastern Amateur Circuit Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2019. The future appears bright for the St. Petersburg Pelicans relief ace, who captured the award with 12 saves in 41 relief appearances, 69 strikeouts in 77.1 innings and a record of 6-10 to go with his 2.56 ERA. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Carl Williams of the Brooklyn Atlantics finished second in voting, while Francisco Zuleta of the Manchester Monarchs finished third.
