Apollos Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, September 3rd , 2019 The Houston Apollos will have a "long time to dwell" on this season's failure to get into the postseason, according to starting pitcher Gabriel Ashley. Still in the chase in the season's final days, the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention earlier today. This is the club's 6th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2013. In total, the Apollos have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 17-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Apollos have only made the playoffs once. |
