Providence Eliminated from Playoff Contention Tuesday, September 3rd , 2019 The Providence Grays were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Dylan Holmes of the Grays said it's a tough way to finish out the season. "To be eliminated from playoff contention in the last few games, it's not easy," he said. Before this season, the Grays last missed the playoffs in 2014. In the 17 years they have been a Amateur Baseball Circuit franchise, they have made the playoffs 8 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Grays have missed the playoffs 4 times. Providence last won the Amateur Circut Cup in 2016. |
