Western Amateur Circuit Names Top Player Monday, September 2nd , 2019 According to the voters, Edgar Patterson of the Yuma Gnomes had the best week of all Western Amateur Circuit hitters as he was named this week's Player of the Week. The shortstop's accomplishments include 11 hits in 26 at-bats, a .423 batting average, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season, Patterson is swinging the bat at a .270 rate with 85 hits in 315 at-bats. To date he has hit 19 home runs, scored 50 runs and driven in 55. |
