Silva Picked Best Player Monday, September 2nd , 2019 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Long Beach's Pedro Silva put up last week were the envy of the league, as Silva came away with Eastern Amateur Circuit Player of the Week honors. He belted out 8 hits in 22 at-bats, 4 home runs and 10 RBIs last week as he posted his .364 batting average. Silva is hitting .242 so far this season with 34 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has 111 hits including 12 home runs, 34 walks and .296 OBP. |
