Vera Cops #1 Pitcher Award in August Sunday, September 1st , 2019 The Eastern Amateur Circuit scribes have announced August's Pitcher of the Month and have given the award to Francisco Vera of Providence. He was one tough cookie on the mound last month with a fine 5-0 mark to prove it. The Providence star made 6 starts with a 1.93 ERA and surrendered 37 hits in 46.2 innings. He struck out 44 and walked 19. In 7 starts this season, Vera has notched a 6-0 record and a 2.35 ERA. |
