Pedro Palma Wins WAC Trophy Monday, August 26th , 2019 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Western Amateur Circuit Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Pedro Palma for his great week at the plate. The Houston left fielder took home the trophy by banging out 9 hits in 26 at-bats for a .346 batting average, driving in 8 runs and scoring 7 times. So far this year, Palma has hit .293 with 7 home runs, 27 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
