Zane Shulman Out for Season Sunday, August 25th , 2019 After injuring himself, Mavericks reliever Zane Shulman headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Shulman will miss at least 5 months with a torn meniscus. This season, Shulman has chalked up a 4.40 ERA while ringing up no saves with no wins and 2 losses. He has made 9 relief appearances, pitching 14.1 innings, giving up 12 hits, and holding opponents to a .226 batting average. Shulman has also recorded 14 strikeouts and allowed 3 walks. |
