St. Petersburg Eliminated from Playoff Contention Sunday, August 18th , 2019 The St. Petersburg Pelicans have run out of games to perform any sort of late-season miracle. As of today, they were mathematically out of playoff contention. The Pelicans have made the playoffs 4 times in their 12 years as a Amateur Baseball Circuit franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2013. St. Petersburg last won the Amateur Circut Cup in 2013. |
