No Playoff Berth Coming for Albuquerque Thursday, August 15th , 2019 The Albuquerque Coyotes were stuck in the middle this season -- not competitive enough in the playoff chase to be considered relevant, but not far enough behind to be completely written off. Until now, that is -- today, the Coyotes were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Albuquerque last appeared in the postseason in 2014. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 17-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Coyotes have made the playoffs 5 times. Albuquerque has won the Amateur Circut Cup 4 times in their history. |
